Federal Food Programs

Federal Food Programs provide important health and nutrition benefits to children, women, the elderly, and families in need.

The most common federal food program is SNAP (Supplement Nutrition Assistance Program, formerly Food Stamps). Today in the United States, more than 45.7 million people use the SNAP Program to feed themselves and their families.

Apply for Federal Food Assistance Programs:

• The Emergency Food Assistance Program
• Food Distribution Program on Indian Reservations
• Food Help for Disaster Relief
• Women, Infants, and Children (WIC)
• WIC Farmers Market Nutrition Program (FMNP)
• Commodity Supplemental Food Program (CSFP)
• School Meals
• Summer Food Service Program (SFSP)

• Child and Adult Care Food Program (CACFP)

The Hotline is operated Monday to Friday, 9 am to 6 pm EST. If you call after business hours, leave a message and they will call you back.
